BMW has been advertising the 2014 F15 X5 with the tagline “The Boss is Back” (seen at the end of the second ad below) and the latest commercial coming out of Japan humorously shows just how boss the new X5 is — stopping a tough biker gang and a train dead in their tracks. The boss X5 is of course given the right of way.
Another cool laser light show to show off the F15 X5.

The X5 M50d is reviewed by Car Buyer. The M50d features 381 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque, from just three liters of displacement (with tri-turbos).

The first of our members’ 2014 X5 deliveries will take place imminently, with some vehicles already waiting at the BMW VPC (vehicle preparation center). For those anxious owners-to-be or just those interested in the new X5, you can learn more about some of the car’s features in these instructional videos.
They includes features on the intelligent safety button, third row seating, new key fob, child safety latch, heated steering wheel, object recognition detection, park distance control, keyhold removal cap, panoramic moonroof, rear comfort seats, updated sun visors, HVAC buttons and more.

While attending the BMW X5 (F15) launch drive, we had a chance to sit down with BMW NA’s X5 Product Advocate, Jason Chan, who helped answer some of the questions our X5 owners-to-be have:
