A stunning red X6 M decked out in BMW’s latest M Performance Parts and on display today at the M section of the 2011 Frankfurt IAA. The carbon fiber parts and the catchy red color really contrasted and complimented each other nicely.
The M performance parts featured on the X6 M (also available for X5 M) here were:
21″ BMW M Performance light alloy wheels in double-spoke design
BMW M Performance carbon fiber splitter and black front kidney grilles
BMW M Performance tail fins in black
BMW M Performance side skirts (X6 M only)
BMW M Performance flat bottom steering wheel (covered in alcantara), with M color stitching and blue center marker

Active Autowerke held its 30th anniversary spring social this past weekend. Attendance was high and the rides were stunning. A slew of photos and a video from the enthusiast gathering have been posted inside.
Beginning with March production, the following changes take place for X5 M and X6M:
* X5M and X6M each become 2012 models
* Each receives as standard equipment iPod/USB Adapter (6FL)
* X5M receives power tailgate as standard equipment
* Each receives BMW Apps (6NR) as an option with April production
German tuner Mansory, tuner of high end German and Italian marques, has unveiled its first BMW - the Mansory BMW X5M. This highly customized X5 M features both performance upgrades and visual enhancements. Details and photos inside.
The full replacement front bumper features aggressive air inlets even larger than those on the factory X5M bumper. Carbon fiber lips and LED lights finish off the front bumper’s new look. The front fenders have been widened by 70mm (2.75 in.) and receive aggressive vents on top to match the new vents on the lightweight replacement hood, as well as vents behind wheel well.

As if the factory X5 M power output and aero kit wasn’t aggressive enough, G-Power has now released its even bigger wide body kit and tuning package for the X5M. Thanks to optimized air flow and up to 15% more cooling, the G-POWER body kit clears the way for an increase in the base output of the 4.4 l V8 bi-turbo power unit of 170 hp to no less than 725 hp.
