Enco Exclusive, a German tuner, has released its BMW X6 aero kit package. It’s the first dual color X6 we have seen and is matched to new front and rear bumpers with integrated LED lights and exhaust cutouts, side skirts, widened fenders and rocker panels. Wheels are black 23″ JURA aluminum wheels, with time-attack style pinstripes. An aftermarket exhaust has also been fitted. However, this is purely a cosmetic enhancement kit and no performance upgrades are included.
BMW Performance parts for both the BMW X5 and X6 have been out now for some time, with a few scant images distributed around the internet. In fact, to date, the best photos have been the ones captured live @ autoshows (check out our autoshow coverage of the geneva show where we were lucky enough to get some great alone time with the car), but now BMW has updated us with some new photos at some great angles and in high resolutions!
BMW has released an updated BMW Performance promo video, now also featuring the X6 and X5. The original clip featuring just the E90 3-series and E82 1-series portion of this video was released back in November 2008.

They were able to accomplish this by pushing the B-pillar backwards, adding 250mm (9.8 inch) longer front doors, and moving the rear window forward 200mm (7.9 inches). As part of the conversion, the company also installed modified front seats which tilt … CONTINUED

Well, as some of you may remember, Mr. Clarkson made a point of showing how poorly the BMW SAVs performed off road. BMW shot back quickly with their snow driving youtube videos, but now Clarkson’s own magazine, Top Gear now seems to approve of the off road capabilities of the X6.
The Japanese tuning company Vertice has released its X6 aero kit. The kit is entirely carbon fiber construction and offers a less aggressive alternative to the mostly wild aero kits that are currently on the market for the X6.
The X6M seems to be the current vehicle of tuning choice for several notable tuners. At the 2010 Geneva show, Lumma has debuted their CLR X 650 M, a visually and mechanically upgraded version of the X6M. The cosmetic upgrades are obvious, but underneath the hood, the power has been bumped to 650ps.
Hamann has debuted its “Tycoon” X6M at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. the Tycoon is a 670hp/737lb-ft torque monster (+123hp / 236tq over factory), and it looks like it. The ECU has been reflashed and paired with an exhaust system. While some may not like the radical look, this is undeniably a car which gets some attention.
BMW recently announced a full lineup of BMW Performance Parts for the X6, including both power upgrades and cosmetic enhancements.
