Yes, I think the ASD has been updated in the later releases of i-steps, ZCP or non-ZCP. I have an April 2016 M4 which wasn't updated or upgraded until 2 days ago. I used to hate the ASD... So much that I coded it out, then back on, then out, and many more times of this on/off nonsense.

Just got F020-17-03-502 and I think the ASD does a much better job. Still loud as hell in sports or sports+ but there is a low rumble that wasn't there in my original 2016 build. I love it so far, you can feel it your body rather that just in your ears.
Sounds much more like an actual sports car than the sound of a car I would get on a video game.

Still semi-fake but it fools me so far. Not sure if it changed anything as far as the sound on the outside of the car, I doubt it...
