Looking at the acceleration numbers between C & D and Motor Trend, the Motor Trend M5 seems to be making around 30hp less than the C & D car.

Motor Trend also acknowledges that the 91 might be the limiting factor in their article.

That 10.9@129 1/4 mile run by C & D is 911 Turbo territory. Not that 11.1@126.7 on 91 Octane is any less impressive.
