TestO - The best BMW parameter logging tool

Made a few videos on TestO. All you need a KDcan cable and a Windows laptop. No excuse not to use it. And now no excuse in not knowing how. Will be making more videos for specific parameters such as boost control, fuelling, low pressure fuel system, etc.

Please don’t forget to check video descriptions for links to TestO. These have been provided by the developer themselves. Hard to find otherwise. Most will need a standalone version.

Also, please remember it’s a freeware so don’t forget to donate. Link is in the video description as well. We have no affiliation besides using this awesome tool.

It will probably go into history like other threads. Subscribe on YouTube and it will be easily accessible. Other videos are coming too. Specifically for TestO.

Sorry to resurrect this from the dead, but two things:

  1. Great videos. Very to-the-point and informative (rare these days)
  2. Is there any damn way to log wheel speed sensor data? I've been playing around with this for a while but can't seem to find this...

I have not looked for wheel speed sensor parameters in TestO. Anyone found them post it.

This is really nice. I was able to access US N57 engine and post my measurement regarding timing chain. Now I tried N20 or N55 engine but was not able to measure it. Was able to connect and read the ECU type but when creating a custom job or even using the existing basic measurement could not get any data .... it says error on ECU request.

is there any additional setup I need to follow?

The issue is on F platform vehicles.

I was able to connect with F platform by using enet and config the ediabas.ini ... now the challenge is that when ask for any measurement it returns "error_ecu_out_of_range". The ipo and prg files are the latest as use them with INPA ... successfully reading data.

seems like the requests from Test0 to ECU dont match what the measurement IDs.

any suggestion?
