Welcome the all new 2015 BMW M4 Convertible.

The highlight for BMW at the New York Autoshow has to be the M4 Convertible. The car shares the same drivetrain and dimensions as the M4 Coupe, but ditches its fixed top for a retractable hard top and weighing in at around 3900lbs.

BMW has confirmed that the car will arrive to U.S. showrooms during the summer of 2014 and will be priced nicely at $73,425 (including Destination & Handling).

Catch our coverage from the 2014 Techno Classica Essen.

There is a reason why I LOVE attending the Techno Classic in Essen… it’s all the cool classic cars! Yup, the quality of the cars on display here and that fact that all the major German car makers are here – at the factory level, makes this show a MUST SEE event each year. It’s the worlds largest classic car show(so says Siha, the organizers) held in Europe. I believe it. I always have such a great time here.

It’s a wonderful car show. You can find anything car related here: cars, car parts, tools, artwork, cars for sale, model cars and toys for big boys and small one too! And its always nice to … CONTINUED

I was amazed that the official opening was just the next day as there was lots of work to do at most of the stands! I was shocked. In typical (German) fashion all the German car maker stands were finished. Some of the “other” stands did not even have any cars there. It was very interesting to walk around and see who was ready and who was not. One thing was for sure… it would be a really late work night for the work crews at Geneva.

Please excuse the photo quality of my pics. Cameras weren’t allowed before the official press days, so … CONTINUED
