One of the first things to catch your eye at the BMW stand in Paris this year has to be the BMW Z4 sDrive35is in Atacama Yellow. I believe this is part of the Limited Edition Design Pure Impulse package originally intended for the UK (and seen here: http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=404269). The matching color arrangement of the Pure Impulse package combined with the sDrive35is drivetrain makes this car the best Z4 one can have at the moment! No word yet if … CONTINUED
Next up in our continuing coverage of the 2010 Paris Autoshow is a beautiful example of the BMW M3 equipped with M Performance parts and painted in Frozen Black Matte. This car looks unbelievable in person.
This car is equipped with M Performance parts including the M Performance sports silencer that adds distinctive sound in a 40% lighter body with improved temperature-resistent chromium-nickel titanium build. The BMW 3-Series coupe with BMW Performance part is nothing new, but this particular model happens to be the LCI (“facelift”) BMW 3-Series Coupe and as far as I can tell, the first time i’ve seen this car live at an autoshow! Enjoy.
By far, the main headline attraction at the 2010 Paris Autoshow is the BMW 6-Series Concept Coupe which is basicly the upcoming BMW 6-Series Coupe with the word Concept appended to it so as to avoid official annoucement, for now.
The car was revealed in dramatic fashion, being driven down a sloping ramp and coming to a stop infront of the assembled international press. Ian Robertson was the host of the day and gave the audience a well done introduction … CONTINUED

Forum member Harold Wood aka Roger Lighterness brings us up to date with photos from the Goodwood Festival of Speed which he has dubbed “probably the best car show in the world”. Included are pictures of BMWs at the event, including a large ALPINA display, but his full flickr gallery actually has some extensive coverage.
The Calder car was the first BMW Art Car in a 35-year tradition of turning cars into canvases. In 1975, Hervé Poulain commissioned American artist Alexander Calder (1898-1976) to paint the BMW 3.0 CSL Poulain to drive in the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race. BMW continued this tradition and has sponsored 16 works from artists including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Robert Rauschenberg. The Calder BMW Art Car will be on display in the lobby of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art from May 10 to … CONTINUED
