On display at the BMW exhibit at the 2012 AMI auto show is a frozen bronze 640d gran coupe with BMW Individual interior.
Elsewhere in the exhibit was the first BMW 114i to be shown to the public. The 114i features a de-tuned version of the 116i’s 1.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Power output is 101hp / 133 lb-ft. 0-100km/h (62mph) in 11.2 seconds with top speed of 195km/h (121mph). Average fuel consumption is 5.5lt/100km (42.8mpg US).

The 2013 BMW 3 Series Touring (F31) had its online reveal 3 weeks ago and has just had its world premiere today at the 2012 AMI show.
Compared to E91 3 Series Touring:

10% more cargo volume (with rear seats up and folded) - 495 liters of cargo room

The recently announced BMW F21 M135i 3-door hatchback has just made its world public debut at the AMI 2012 show today. Here are the vitals on this newest model to the BMW M Performance Automobiles lineup. The F21 M135i will unfortunately not make it to North America.

We’re here at the AMI (Auto Mobile International) 2012 show which kicked off today for the press and BMW had on display the F30 3 series featuring the full set of BMW M Performance parts. German car magazine Sport Auto hosts an annual event called the Tuner Gran Prix (or Tuner Wars as some call it). Nearly every major German car tuner attends, along with some smaller private teams. The atmosphere is more like a club racing event than a high stress professional race, with lots of rare and expensive cars thrown in!

The 2013 BMW M6 Coupe (F13) (official info thread) has also made an appearance at the 2012 Auto China show in Beijing, in a stunning Brilliant White Metallic Individual exterior with Opal White Individual leather interior and Piano Black Gloss trim. Until now, the F13 M6 coupe has only been shown in Sakhir Orange at the Geneva and New York auto shows.
The M6 coupe’s carbon fiber roof looks gorgeous contrasting against the pearly Brilliant White metallic paint. It is said (per our NYIAS interview) to save approximately 10 pounds compared to a steel roof and more than that versus a sunroof. Have a look at the sights and sounds from BMW’s presence at the 2012 Auto China show, currently underway in Beijing, China. The two big premieres at the show for BMW were the BMW i8 Spyder Concept and the BMW 3 Series Li Long Wheelbase model. The press conferences for each model can be viewed below, along with some more information on each and photos.
The BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase Sedan has just premiered at the 2012 Auto China show in Beijing. The 3 Series Li has been announced in three models - 320Li, 328Li, and the 335Li.
The Li model adds 11 centimeters (4.3 inches) to its wheelbase over the standard F30 3 series sedan, resulting in a more spacious passenger cabin (particularly the rear). Both the BMW 3 Series Sedan in the long wheelbase version and the new BMW 3 Series Sedan will be available in China before the end of the year.
These models will be for the Chinese market only and will be produced at BMW’s new Shenyang production plant.
