Automobile has posted what it thinks are details behind the BMW i8S, a supercar that will celebrate BMW’s 100th anniversary in 2016.

Presenting our M2 preview rendering. After seeing many renderings which were simply an M235i with M4 style front bumper, we took a shot at providing a more accurate preview based on our latest M2 spy photos.

We spent the most effort on digitally uncovering the parts which are clearly confirmed by the prototype – the unique lower bumper / air intake design featuring downward curving twin fins and the wide front and rear fenders.

GSR Autosport gives us the skinny on their Global Time Attack M4 prior to SEMA. The GSR Autosport Global Time Attack project car is being developed to run in the 2015 GTA Pro Am Series in Street Class. The overall concept is sort of a Jekyll & Hyde thing where certain parts will be able to be swapped back and forth – between track duty and street duty – parts such as the front splitter, rear decklid/wing, roll bar, seats, wheels/tires, etc.
