The folks at Autogespot have spotted the F10 Alpina B5 biturbo sedan on local streets. Alpina has tuned the F10 to produce an impressive 507bhp and 516lb/ft torque, which takes the car from 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds, up to a top speed of 191mph. The B5 is fitted with an 8-speed automatic jointly developed by Alpina and ZF. Its exhaust is specially developed for ALPINA in partnership with Honeywell-Garret

German tuning house Kelleners Sport, based in Dinslaken, Germany, has just revealed a new package their are releasing officially at the Geneva Autoshow for the 5-Series.

Kelleners sport, the brainchild of race car driver Ralf Kelleners has traditionally focused on suspension and engine tuning, but has also been increasingly working on Optik-tuning or aerodynamic styling bits to add to his company’s portfolio.

This new package for the 5-Series remains true to this philosophy of merging handling and engine dynamics made to the standards of a professional race driver and optical enhancements.

The new F10 5-Series has really proven to be a hit in the BMW community, and has drawn interest from all different types of owners, even those with the mod bug. Here is one such example of a nicely done F10 5-Series with AC Schnitzer front lip, 20″ wheels and RD Sport Springs.

The BMW 5-series and all new X3 have made the 10 finalists list for the 2011 World Car of the Year Awards. The winners will be announced at a press conference co-hosted by Bridgestone at the New York International Auto Show on Thursday, April 21, 2011.

Prior to that the top three finalists in all the award categories will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1st, 2011.

Hamann has released some great looking new aero parts to enhance the factory F10 M-sport package - consisting of the Hamann Competition Front Spoiler and Rear Center Molding/Panel. Paired with factory whiteline tail lights on a black F10, these parts look seriously mean!

Beginning in March, frozen black and frozen gray matte paint will be offered on the F10 sedan and F11 touring. This will represent the first time that BMW is officially offering the matte paint options for a non-M car. The two matte paint options will be available with the F10 and F11 M-sport packages and will be available on all models of the F10 and F11. The special paint option will not come cheap however, estimated to be 3300 euros.

The BMW Group UK has scooped seven awards from one of the country’s leading fleet publications. Business Car magazine has honoured the BMW Group with the headline accolade of ‘Manufacturer of the Year’, for the third year in a row, in recognition of BMW’s diverse product portfolio and class-leading running costs.
