ECU and CAS replacement questions

hi i recently bought a BMW 3 series 320i from one of co-workers which had been sitting for almost 2 years I have managed to get the car running but its stuck in limp mode and after a bit of research I think I have found the problem which is the ECU is water damaged. I have been looking to buy a new ECU, CAS and key as a bundle and was wondering if I will still need to get it recoded or would it just be a plug and play situation

dont know for the diesel europe models, but for the 328 n/a yes it was plug and play. DME + CAS + Cluster + keys.
(not 100% sure for cluster, but Ive replaced it anyway)

I kept the original FRM and other than having mismatch VIN in ISPA, this cause 0 issue.
