The MSD program in those regions can be for new BMW customers as well right? I have a dealer saying it's only open to current BMW lesses with an existing MSD.

I didnt want to push again. My dealer has always been upfront and completely honest. the second call was with BMWFS on speaker so I could hear. the woman seemed aware of the program but confirmed it was only for existing MSD program holders this post makes it seem like its for everyone...My dealer is in NJ but I live outside of Philly.

I just got off the phone with a two BMWFS customer service reps and someone from BMW NA Corp and was told that each dealership does not have to conform to the corporate BMWFS product and can change the terms of the product as they see fit (i.e. if they only want to offer it to existing lessee with existing MSD). Do dealerships get more profit if they sell a lease with a higher MF? That's the only reason why I would think they would deny for new customers. Last edited by dawei213; 07-23-2018 at 04:10 PM.. |

MSD Program Returns
Exciting news for BMW enthusiasts in the Eastern Region, Florida, and Hawaii! BMW has officially brought back the Multiple Security Deposit (MSD) Rate Reduction Program for leases through dealers in these areas. This program can be a fantastic way to save on monthly lease payments and overall costs.
For those unfamiliar, the MSD program allows lessees to make additional security deposits upfront, which in turn lowers the money factor (interest rate) on the lease. This can lead to significant savings over the lease term. While it's fantastic to see this program return for these regions, we're still waiting to hear if it will be reinstated in other areas. Hopefully, BMW will extend this opportunity to more regions soon. For those interested, be sure to review the official announcement and terms to understand the specifics and eligibility requirements. And if you're in one of the lucky regions where the MSD program is back, it might be worth considering for your next BMW lease! Feel free to share any thoughts or experiences with the MSD program if you've used it before. Let's keep each other informed! |
