N54UPDATE Swapped 328i, now some things to do need help
UPDATE: I've got the car, updated the CAS and just have been fiddling around. The car has no communication errors except for A10A in the CAS module. When the car cranks it spudders but then it just cranks as normal with no start and the check engine light turns off (which indicated lost connection to DME?) When i take my foot off the break the engine light comes back on. Really focusing now on the connection between DME and CAS.
Hey everyone this is gonna be a weird post but i'm really hoping to get some help. I had a E90 2011 328i N51 I bought a donor 2008 e92 335i N54 and swapped everything over including wiring. The car didn't come with the MSD81 that was originally in it but I bought a used DME CAS KEY MSD80 to put in the car I started the car made sure everything was hooked up I can hear the fuel pump priming and the car cranks but no start and NO SPARK but has fuel I have checked wiring on X6001 and every pin matches up perfect with the 2008 E93 with the exception of some spare pins white - 11 Blue and black - Goes to grey pin 13 magenta - Pin 2 green red N51 Specific Grey - Pin 26 Black Grey - Pin 12 blue and white Grey 6- Yellow and black In pin 5 it's missing one wire but it's for the exhaust flap so i pay no attention to it. I checked the DME relay it engages with no issues. Checked all power wires going to DME, all the appropriate wires have power with key on. Pulled the spark plugs they were covered with fuel so no fuelling concerns. I pulled the dme opened checked ignition mosefts no issues and no broken connections on dme or harness I'm at a complete loss now. I've been looking at diagrams and wiring forever now I still cannot get any spark from the ignition coils. Any help is appreciated. |

ista will. Now, check the video posted, seems like the guy had a similar issue, and shows how to fix it by repining some wires. |

I've already watched his entire series. I have pin 22 already and it goes straight to my Cas3. I've checked all the wiring to the car between DME, CAS etc
