N55 m2 sound vs f30 n55 sound

Why does these two cars sound so different yet the same engine

And what I mean exactly is the burble at a hard acceleration and when let off the rumble burble it makes when letting off the gas pedal.

I know there's tunes for more burble but is not the same burble that the m2 makes .

Is it possible in any way to get that sound on a f30

Maybe a tune

Muffler design and tune. The standard tune on the N55 is very tame in terms of burbles. The MPPK tune is more aggresssive, the stock MPPK tune on the M235 is even louder, and the M2, slightly louder than that. If you add the M Performance exhaust to any of these cars, burbles get even louder.

Yes it is. It's the same N55 twin scroll single, they only added forged bits and oil coolers, and a tuned it.

The difference is 80% the tune and 20% the exhaust. You can get an aftermarket tune like Bootmod3 and increase the aggressiveness of the tune to far more than what the M2 has. Even with all stock exhaust components.

My thing is for example the burble am m2 makes on hard acceleration and when letting off the gas there is a burble that our f30s don't do

And that's what I would want on my car so bad

is like a 1 second burble

Like a fart lol

That shit sounds so dope to me lol

I get what yaw mean tho

Good exhaust bootmod3 gets the car sounding almost close

But rev limiters on the m2 have like an actual 2 step limiter like you can here the limiter bounce

Now on our cars is just rev limiter and is just a constant rev nothing bouncing or anything

Is hard to explain lol

N55
but m2 n55 is called n55b30To. The n55 in a 335i is not.

Similar,but not identical.

I said it's not the 'exact' same engine, yet you say it is but list 2 mechanical differences.

Because those differences don't affect the engines sound. If you added those forged parts and oil coolers to our N55 would it then be a different engine? No. It would still be an N55 with forged parts.

Now if they differed by things like engine volume, different calving, different turbo, etc, then we'd be calling them different engines.
