BC BR front height adjustment

Just got BC BR coils installed. With the proper preload set in the front, they cannot go very low. There is about 1/2 inch of shock body threads left, but it won't screw down into the base any further. Anyone have this issue with BC?

I know I can lower the spring seat collars, but that will get rid of the spring preload and cause clunking over bumps so I don't want to do that.

Two things:
1) They will not clunk if you lose all the preload. I had mine all the way down with no problems.
2) They don't go very low unless you order the "super low" version of the coilovers.

I would suggest either getting them replaced with the BC super lows, or lowering them all the way down. You still have 6-8 threads there.

The preload wasn't set properly when they were installed and they were definitely clunking. That's what prompted me to even check the preload.

And I did order the extreme drop version...so I'm thinking I was sent the wrong set...

This is about how low mine went on super lows. I can't remember if there was any more room to go down or not, but I think they were maxxed out.

Front springs dont look like the extreme drop springs on my BC's.

Those looks progressive and a large coil, extreme drop use a linear spring that is just larger than the shock body
