I have polarized Serengeti glasses, just crank up the brightness and you'll be fine It doesnt filter the HUD completely, just dims it a little, unless you tilt your head

I didn't try that. I'll give it a shot by cranking it up.

Oakley makes several models of sunglasses that are not polarized, but are great. HUD shows up fine with normal brightness setting, and then you do not have to adjust the brightness for night driving.

I have the same. A pair of polarised Serengeti glasses and HUD brightness up to max. I can still see the display and it's fine during the day.

But then don't you have to lower it in the evening. It is rather distracting when it's maxed out in the dark.

No, it doesn't bother me but I see that it might irritate others. Personal preference + what you get used to.

I have and love the Serengeti Lamone (# 6989) Photo-chromatic with the Driver's Lens. Great vision and glare control without being polarized. They don't appear to be listed any longer on Serengeti.com, but can be found on Ebay and other sites for around $60-$80. Keeps the HUD fully visible without distortion or darkening regardless of head position.

I have polarised prescription lenses and the HUD works fine. If I tilt my head about 15 degrees to the right it's a problem. I have the HUD brightness up high and the wheel around 4/5ths up.

I can't drive in daylight without polarised tinted lenses so it would be annoying if I couldn't use the HUD in speed camera revenue addicted Australia.

A few years ago the polarized sunglasses would make the radio display unreadable. Does anyone know if that is still the case or are polarized glasses OK, unless you have HUD

They fixed the radio problem.
