Only the sportline has an oil cooler, IIRC. However, at least the earlier iteration of the car ran hot ob the track even with the cooler. My expectation is that the F30 will do so as well; turbos need a lot of cooling.

Sport Line and M Sport, only, I believe. My Modern Line 328i doesn't have it.

I have yet to see any N20 with a secondary oil cooler even on the new X3 or Z4.

On the 328i it is a additional water cooler, not a oil cooler.
All 335i have a oil cooler 328i Additional water cooler USA Models - Sport line Euro Models - Only with Trailer coupling
