I have one for sale. I'll probably end up in a 340 so i won't be needing it anymore.

675 shipped in the continental U.S. It includes a 50 mm service wrench, two axle circlips and a e10? Torx socket with a hex driven end. And I'll make sure it doesn't leak in shipping like the recent ecs ones.

I'm guessing so. My car caught on fire and it was a manual so i no longer need it.

There are differences between the diff for Manual & Auto - gear ratio definitely as auto has 3.15

There apparently are other differences. In other recent threads, guys with manual cars tried to install the auto diff since they are currently on 'fire sale' at around $500 new (while the manual diff's are still $2k+ ), but rear axles in manual car would need to be modified, so it was a no go

Need to have OP post exact P/N as it is hard to read from pics but newest P/N for AUTO diff is:

33107555607
BMW M Performance limited-slip diff
TYP 188, I=3.15
From:02/01/2014

Supersedes:
33102353285 (10/01/2013 — 04/22/2014)

Part 33107555607 was found on the following vehicles:
3' F30   (04/2011 — 07/2015)
3' F31   (08/2011 — 06/2015)
4' F32   (11/2012 — 02/2017)
4' F33   (03/2013 — 02/2017)
4' F36 Gran Coupé   (07/2013 — 06/2016)

** NOTE ** This is for Automatic Transmissions ONLY

If the auto diff no work in manual cars - then one would assume that the manual diff would not work in auto cars...

Thanks for the response, I should have clarified.. I was wondering if there was a difference between the latest 33107555607 and the older 33102353285 part. But also was confused as to which version the OPs diff was because it clearly starts off as 33127 which is different than both the part numbers mentioned above.

Much debate if it would or wouldn't work on a manual. It was cheap enough and figured i would re sell if it didn't work. A couple of us bought one for our 6mt cars, i was the first to find out auto axles and manual axles are different and this won't work without also swapping axles.
