Actually said outloud "yeah that's fucking different" then the wife looks up and chimes in "looks like ketchup and mustard". Love this board. Never a dull moment. Plasti-dip? What method did you use..

Would like to see more pics to see how these wheels work with the car. Not the best photo with the door open like that.

Yeah I figured, but most people don’t look at cars with the door open. Just wanted to see how it worked with the overall car with the door opening breaking it up.
Honestly doesn’t look too bad to me! I think it works better than the exhaust tips. The combo of the two, though... definitely something different.

How about some close-ups OP? Also, how were these wheels prepped and painted? I have the CQ 666 wheel (Black and silver), and IMHO, it's a shitty looking wheel, I prefer the all silver 666, and would like to get mine redone. So any insight you could provide to all of us here would be helpful. The reason I ask is because, in the past, on my 911, I had the black wheels refinished and powder coated in the traditional Porsche silver color. They looked perfect. However, the stock (not black) 666 wheel on the M4's is a little more complex, as it is simply what looks like a clear coated surface on top of the raw alloy. I mention this as there doesn't appear to be a method I know to lift the black paint off of the Black 666 wheel without marring the surface prior to clear coating. I could be wrong, but you provide some guidance as to how your wheels were modified, it could assist a few of us here. Cheers and thanks in advance!
