2010+ alarm options?

I have a 2010 135 with a 10/09 production date. I'd like to install an alarm.

My dealer said that for cars with production date after 2/09, you cannot add a factory alarm. This jives with the BMW catalog.

What are people doing for alarms on cars post-2/10 production?

But I wasn't able to find anyone actually adding an alarm to a 2010+ car.

Anyone done or seen an alarm added to a 2010+ car? What options are out there?

im also interested. considering an aftermarket option. somebody has to have done this...

yea this would be good to know...because im most likely purchasing a 2010 135i and definately installing an alarm on it since my evolution ix was stolen about a month ago... so when i cross the road i will be sure to post

bump.. anyone? I just went to the dealer to discuss, and no factory options seem to be avail.. I have an '11 with 7/2010 build date.
