Really wanted to get gavins headers but emissions here in Vancouver is tight and dont want the hassel of swapping stock headers every 2 yrs...been there done that...
Those headers will def make a big difference on top of my mods |

I just find it hard to believe anyone who has driven a 335 and owns a 328 could think they even come close. I used to have a 330i which is basically the same as a 328i in terms of acceleration most of the time and it was a slug compared to a 335. No intake, exhaust and tune will give you more than 5-10 hp and it just will not come close. I mean I do not think most who buy a 328 care about raw performance or else they would buy a 335 so it probably does not matter but a few people sayin they feel their car is "close" to a 335, well maybe on paper but in real life one is a freight train and one simply does not even push you back into your seat.
And do not get me wrong I loved my 330i and winding it out to 7k even though it was not nearly as fast asa the 335 so enjoy the 328 for what it offers that the 335 does not, which is increasing power all the way to redline and better power the higher you go, unlike the 335 which drops off after 6k rpms |

**first input on this thread ... even though it should be dead lol**
I'm thinking Noelle stroker kit (stock 325i up to 3.2L 300hp 348ft.lbs tq) and ARMA's supercharger advertised 50% increase from boost is 450hp 474ft.lbs tq... then again, that's $20k worth of modification.... not including racing valves/lifters, LSRD, racing fuel injection, and a bunch of other things... there's room for improvement, but a 335 is so far ahead already that if you spend the same amount of money, you'd be looking at 600hp easy before long... |

I still would love to know why 335 owners come to the NA section. Lol. I seriously have had an account with e90post for 8 months using it daily and never even thought of clicking on the FI section. I mean, why? Not that it matters.. do what you want, but if you come here to make fun of the NA engine you're an idiot.

Aircare checks for your secondary cats, and runs a diagnostic test to make sure no emissions codes are present. There is no actual test from the pipe. You should theoretically be able to run headers on your car and pass if you have no errors. I will be putting headers on soon. I might do a test run at aircare to see if it passes.
