A bit "squidgy" for the first 200 or so, but this morning at 1deg on cow shit/mud covered back roads, puddles etc they absolutely came to life.

Remarkable grip and turn in. The brakes feel so good when of course it's just extra grip.

Truck in the middle of the road coming towards you with full beam on? No problem, brake hard mid corner and pull over sharpish onto the verge - no ABS trigger - Summer tyres would have struggled mightily with that.

Confidence inspiring to just plough on through water and mud mid corner.

No wheel spin out of junctions (front wheel drive).

No warm up required as they are already soft, even when freezing cold you can sink your finger nail into the rubber.

No fear at taking all the back road short cuts in winter now - bring it on!

Just been in Norway for a few days where it's been snowing for around 2 weeks and permenantly below zero. All cars, buses, lorries driving around almost as if there wasn't any.
