Finally installed blackline tails on E90
As many have noticed, the stock pre-LCI tail lights are not awesome. I installed the blacklines last night and I'm really happy with the results. If there are any hold outs... I recommend spending the $315 (or so...) from getbmwparts.com (lowest price I found)
I heard a chorus of angels singing when I saw them lit up the first time. Here's one before pic and a few afters. |

I'm debating the same thing…being that I am a purist and like to keep all panels on my car original, I may go with these, as the LCI tails require a trunk lid swap. Honestly, I really like the look of these when compared to the LCI's…the regular ones however, are nothing to sneeze at.

I did the LCI conversion when I found a perfect OEM M3 trunk on eBay, already Jerez Black, complete with inner tail lights and the factory lip spoiler. It was too sweet to pass up since it made the LCI conversion nothing more than a simple swap and code for me. I haven't regretted it one bit.
