So I have the e-sys program. Shawn, can you help me with the Psdzdata for a F30 2012 335i? I need instructions to download and place them in appropriate folders. Oh and I have the m-power pack. Would it be an issue to program some items live dvd in motion etc. Would I break the m-power programming in anyway? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for for quick reply Shawn. Much appreciated. I have the two files part 1 and part 2. What I don't know is the correct directory structure to put the extracted file in (especially part 2). Thanks for helping out.

http://www.rarlab.com/rar_file.htm Some RAR files can be parts of multi-volume sequences. In WinRAR you can split a huge archive to a few smaller files, which are called volumes. They may have extensions .rar (the first volume), .r00, .r01, ..., or .part1.rar (the first volume), .part2.rar, ..., etc. If you need to unpack volumes, place all them to the same folder and start extraction from the first volume. So, open only Part1.rar and hit Extract. It will automatically extract all files and folders that are spanned across all parts of the .RAR archive. When you are done extracting, you will have your psdzdata folder that you will copy to your E-Sys data folder (e.g. C:\Data\psdzdata).

Verify the following when connecting: On E-Sys Toolbar Press the "Connect" Button and in the "Open Connection" window under "Target", select desired Target Vehicle based on car's Chassis. (e.g. "TargetSelector:Project=F020-14-11-502, VehicleInfo=F020") *NOTE: Do NOT select the Target with the "_DIRECT" suffix (e.g. TargetSelector:Project=F020-14-11-502, VehicleInfo=F020_DIRECT). In the "Open Connection" window under "Interface" select "Connection via VIN". In the "Open Connection" window under "vehicle-specific parameter (optional)" select "Series, I-Step Shipment", and leave the two Dropdown boxes blank. *NOTE: Do not select "Read parameters from VCM".

Just so I am clear, you are in the Coding Module, FA is Activated, and you Read ECU and then Edit FDL, change a setting, and then the Save icon is still grayed out?
