Well done for sticking it out, just take a flask and sandwiches next time you go.

You certainly live up to your User Name.

Some serious comittment there

Imagine you'd be a pretty effective peeping Tom

Not the first tine I've heard about the moronic inbreds ragging the cars whilst off loading. Shame you didn't get a video to pass onto BMW

You absolute legend, my car's on this boat too! Anyone know how long it is before they're transported to the dealers?

I am sure someone that was really in to BMW could have done a bit more and actually blagged entry to the ship or unloading

Now there's a challenge for a BMW spotting geek

haha top effort on the waiting for new car geekyness!

So, I read somewhere that manufacturers ship their cars with a restricted map to stop them getting thrashed at the ports by the guys unloading them etc? Any truth in this?

Excellent photos. Annoying to think some scrote gets to play with them first.

This pic makes it look like an entire boat of Estoril Blue cars. So much for exclusivity

I was working on and Environment Agency site within Ford's site at Dagenham. Yes, new cars get the daylights thrashed out of them when they're being unloaded.

A Focus ST got written off in the 0.5mile trip from the boat to the storage lot, the guy took a corner to fast and drove it up and armco barrier, where it remained beached, as the entire underside had been bollocksed.

The owner was probably going to do something similar in a few weeks time anyway. Saves him the trouble

Oi I drive a focus ST...

And this is a fairly regular problem!!!! I think it's the cars fault not the driver...

Great pics, thanks! I hope my car is there - expecting to get my new black 420D coupe in less than couple weeks (counting the days now!)

As a side note, my friend being a student a while back used to work as a driver moving new cars of various makes and models from one place to another. And to do doughnuts/power slide at a parking in each one of them was a must and an expectation from the mates in his team. So just consider this hard life test as part of the production cycle ;-)

I think if you bought EBII for exclusivity, you were mislead. Lots of them on the roads round here. :

I have notice quite a few too. Estoril is a very distinctive colour though, at a time when most BMWs and Audis are black/white/grey so it does stand out. I would be interested to know actual numbers of each colour sold in the UK. I have a feeling that Estoril numbers are lower than the others, they're just very easy to spot.

I do think it is a fantastic colour though, so perhaps I'm just deluding myself...

I think it's a cracking colour, don't get me wrong, just I think it's popularity has grown significantly over the last couple of years. I remember when they launched it on the Evo E46 and they should have reserved it for the ///M range in my view.

I had the same with Carbon Black on my F10. You could only order if an MSport, problem is every F10 520d is f**king MSport in Carbon Black

EB is the most popular colour around my way for F30's, followed by black.

Black is the biggest colour around here (Wolverhampton) by far, every BMW is pretty much black.

Next is white and silver or MG, loads of them.

EBII is relatively rare in comparison.

Happy days then. F36 are never to be seen round my way and any that I do see are black. So I am hoping with my CB GC I will have some reasonable bmw exclusivity!
