Unrelated, but can you tell me more about the projector fog-lights that came with the bumper?

What type of bulb do they take?
Is there any cut off line?
Are the projector lenses glass?

I would recommend an HID kit, I went HOEN first which I like on my other car but with the projector type it's dim. I went high performance bulbs HID kit 4300 or 4700 and it matches stock light perfect. No burned lenses and work great. I think bulb is 9006 but I modified an existing H8/H11 bulb since I had an extra kit, and it works perfect, and so much better output/look. HPB is the way to go! Also, stock fogs was not built to take the heat, but these or projector ones work fine, and so far I have not been impressed w the led's for fogs.

Thank you, good information!

Is there any cut off line?

Cut off line? Sorry, lost you on that one... If you are referring to an adapter from h8 to 9006, that's a quick $10 eBay job!

If that is what you were talking about; here is one, "straight socket" http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=230699380307" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://pages.ebay.co...0699380307</a>" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://<a href="http...380307</a></a>

Or:
90 degree socket (typically stock style, but both likely work)

Take a look at the picture below. You'll see the image on the left has no cutoff shield while the one of the right does. It's purpose is to keep excess light from shooting up and blinding on-coming drivers.

If you look directly at the projector lens you'll actually see a plate covering the top half of the reflector bowl behind the glass.

It's actually at the bottom, but it will appear to be on the top when looking at it through the lens.

Wow, love it! Thanks for the lesson, I will look for it. Work as an engineer with a bit of an eccentric mind... Obviously I am here! I appreciate the explanation and the visuals. However, in simplified terms, no one flashed me in about 1.5 years. Atleast, facing me driving!

Thread resurrection: I just ordered an M3 bumper from Khoalty and it was the same manufacturer as the OP's (Good Go). Good quality. I was apprehensive about painting it myself with aerosol, but I went for it and it came out very well - couldn't be happier. I used every bit of 2 cans of color - was concerned I wouldn't have enough, but it was just right. Great info in this thread. Thanks OP!
