Why update Rheingold?
I had a full software update on my E90 LCI 1 year ago and I needed to update my Datens to communicate with the car.
I'm now running Rheingold 3.47 which I believe was released before my current I-level. What's the benefit of updating Rheingold; is it still to ensure communication can be made as per INPA? |

reason for update to 2016.3 Ista+
for update, usually more powerful functions or more models you can use
if you only have one car, you can just you what you have now but for more and latest BMWs, you'd better to update Rheingold to the new version e.g. 2016.3 Ista+ add 2016 7 series G11, G12 cars and Support BMW made in USA. note: BMW USA cannot be supported at BMW 4S shop, so these BMW cars made in USA can only be diagnosed and programmed with 2016 ISTA+ with icom a2. ps. ISTA+ is the new name of Rheingold for update, i recommend http://www.obdtool.co.uk/wholesale/v...-icom-ssd.html it's software in SSD, much more stable and faster than in HDD |

Good to know I don't need to worry about frequently updating. Thanks |
