I have recently brought some 245/45/r18 snow tire alloys off a 2017 535d f11 g30 and I saw on some other posts that this size tire will not fit on my e90. So my question is is it possible to downsize the tire so that it will fit and what tire would I need to make it fit nicely? Thanks!

The 245 is a bit wide for the front of an E90 and 45 ratio is a bit tall, how did they fit? Ideally, winter tires should be on the narrow side so they cut through snow and ice easily.

Hi thanks for the reply! Yeah just tried them on and unfortunately the tires are too tall and wide like you said as very close to the spring! It came with winter tires on so I plan on changing them anyway was just curious as to the best tire size to downsize too that isn't low profile to give the alloy good protection? Thanks
