18x9.5 square

I've heard of people doing this I was wondering if anyone has pics of this setup. I have a 430 Xdrive so I'm trying to stay square if possible. I also would like to have a wider tire on the there if possible.

Rears work fine

Fronts are where the f30s start to run into fitment issues.

If you can, try for an 18x9. Good meaty tires are 255/40/18, very little speedometer error

You can look at willtheyfit to calculate clearances

The fronts need a lower offset, 35ish and may need fender rolling depending on tire size and suspension.

If you drop it to 9s, you should be able to clear everything and still fit wide tires on em.

Youre on an xdrive, you don't really need 9.5in wide wheels to put down the power. 9 is plenty and less of a hassle.

9.5s are definitely possible though! There are multiple threads you can find here

I put 18x9.5s +35 square on my 17 440i. I replaced them because I did not want to use spacers. Spacers will be needed in the front.

Side note, you may want to consider mud flaps from the wider wheels. I am on 18x8.5 +35 square, and the grime that kicks up on to the car is way more than it used to be. I picked up a set from Tommy L Garage on IG.

I just left Discount Tire and they wouldn't install the the 18x9.5 on the front said they were to close to the strut and told me the only way they would work is of I ran a spacer. Then they said they wouldn't touch my car if it had spacers. That's my luck

I have a 2017 440i XDrive. Running 18x9, 255/40/18 all around. No spacers.

Perfect fitment for me. Initially the fronts rubbed in the center of the wheel wells at full left/right lock, but after replacing leaking UCA bushings they are no longer rubbing.

I'm running the same, +30 offset, slight poke (tire brand can factor in here). Only rubs a bit on full lock and I'm sure my UCAs could use replacing.
