For those that have done the sunroof cover cloth repair -

Watched a few YouTube videos for fixing the upholstery using staples to staple the cloth back onto the cover.

Can I use a normal (paper) stapler and stapes for this?
Or do I need to go buy some special upholstery staple gun?

Are normal staples for paper us too long or short to staple the cloth back on?

Just get the replacement, its not hard to swap out and is going to be much better than having it sag from just being tied or stapled.

When I looked for a replacement it was $300!
Not paying that… if I can find one cheaper I would definitely rather just buy one and swap it
