Hi everyone,

Not first time using this wonderful forum but first time posting. I recently got a car wash on my 2007 BMW E90 and upon exiting, heard this dragging on the ground. This was the part that I ripped out from underneath the front of my car.

Now, I am 99% sure this doesn’t belong to my car because first of all, it looks like some kind of intake box but regardless, wanted to be sure. Everything looks completely fine underneath and I have all my splash shields intact anyways so there is very little accessible to begin with…

Hoping to rule out this coming from under my car.

Thanks in advance for any reassurances!

That is not an E90 part for sure. Looks like a battery box cover to a GM truck.
