Seeking Wiring Guide for Steering Wheel LED Screen Installation on 2013 BMW 335
Hello BMW enthusiasts,
I recently purchased a custom steering wheel for my 2013 BMW 335i F30, which comes with an LED screen. While the installation process seemed straightforward initially, I'm encountering some issues with powering the LED screen consistently. After disconnecting the airbag wire and the steering wheel button wire from the power unit, I installed the new steering wheel, which includes two separate wires for the LED screen. The seller advised me to connect these LED screen wires to the power wire from the steering wheel button wire. However, despite following this advice, I'm facing a problem where the LED screen turns off after the vehicle has been turned off for 30 minutes to an hour and doesn't turn back on when the car is restarted. I've attempted to re-install the LED screen wires multiple times, but the issue persists. I suspect I may be connecting them to the wrong wire. The wires I see connected to the cable are brown, white, blue, red, and black. Could anyone provide guidance on which wire I should connect the LED screen wires to? Additionally, if anyone has access to or knows where I can find a detailed wiring diagram for the steering wheel components of a 2013 BMW 335i F30, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any assistance or insights you can provide! |
