I was out and about today and the car felt a bit sluggish in very light throttle.

Fired up the app and I think I could see that the car was doing a DPF regen.

The soot when I launched the app was 21 grams and within 20 mins of driving it was down to around 3 grams.

I'm also curious as to the 'regeneration - last mileage' as mine shows it as 166780944.00 miles ? What's that all about ?

I think you will find, the 'm' in the distance display is for metres, not miles.
So that would be 104238 miles.

Does that make any sense?

thanks Banana, that does make sense. You'd think the developer would do the calculation in the app !!

With the amount of interest the developer would probably do very well by offering a group discount!

Anyone else ever had it where on this screen -

If I press the 'Check coding possibilities' nothing happens, just a white bit where I press.

Tried on my iPad and iPhone & got the same thing, managed to get it to check once & it took AGES to check & then said 0 ecu's compatible.

It also takes lots of attempts to connect, is it my £10 ebay adapter do we think?

Cheers

I think it's your ebay adaptor, mine used to do the same.

I came across a problem trying to code Shaun's car (gaza01) today at players. First of all his jb4 had disabled the ODB port (love this feature), and then I got an error message about BMW connected drive and it said I could only read the coding possibilities and would need the wired Android connection to code the car.
+1 for Android (damn you apple)

It seems to just be my adapter to be honest, it was a £10 ebay jobby. I might invest in the proper one eventually!

Id actually leave that - its useful for holding down plastic sheet to the windscreen in the winter to keep it ice free.
