Not mine, spotted on the street today. Cool seeing an Estoril Blue wagon in the wild. Beige interior too. Really needs centre caps on those wheels.

Been after a wagon for a long time. Between the F31, aggrivesly driving a Saab 9-3 aero wagon manual gearbox, the a6 all road, glancing at Volvo wagons, the E class wagon…never been the right time or price etc.
Now, picked up a 2014 328i touring with 70k miles. All body panels fit and finish are aligned and clean, clean carfax, interior immaculate. 2 previous owners. An Audi dealership had this listed. They detailed it, applied tint, brake pads and rotor service, oil and filter and air filter, balanced, aligned and rotated. I was looking for white but everything else on this one told me it’s the right one. I may wrap it later. It has luxury package. I love these wheels…may consider black on the chrome finishes if I ever wrap it white. Another reason I was comfortable in getting a 10 YEAR OLD CAR was that I used to have a 2013 328i sedan and after several other vehicles it still holds a special place. I drove it from 9k to 96k miles and in hindsight I should have just kept it. Just a phenomenal engine, power delivery and functionality. Here with this F31 now. A shift from our other vehicle which is a 2022 X5 MSport. The mechanical sounds and feel and the simplicity on this wagon, I’m loving it. I hear I should look out for water pump and timing chain. Any thoughts on that? |

Congrats welcome to F31 family. I've been peaking at G05 as well as a stable mate.

mosen7 Congratulations on the Nu2U wagon. Enjoy it.
Bump up the oil change intervals and the timing chain should be fine but if you're really concerned about it ABR in Houston charges around $3k to do it.

Hello everyone... Due to having a little one last year and everything that comes with it I've had to make choice to get rid of my beloved mk7 6 speed GTI. But I've found a replacement that makes me pretty happy all things considered. Always been a fan of wagons and love the look of the f31s. I was willing to get an older 5 series wagon or 3 series but every time I found a nice one my girl would see the year and say "its too old" or "is it safe"... could never knock sense into her .
Anyways here she is. 2017 BMW 328d. 93k miles on the clock. This thing gets great MPG. Cant wait to take it on a ski & snowboard trip. Ordered a stealth hitch to install. Super stoked with the car. Already have a brake kit, oil change, rear shocks and engine mounts, and some other things on the way. Gonna take care of this one being a 2017 cooling system should be good for now? |

Cooling system would be based on mileage not model year? At almost 100k, and its original I would look into it. Nothing wrong with preventative maintenance

Re chain etc; as already said; change the oil every 12months, fresh filter etc and give the car an Italian tune-up every so often & it should be fine They don't all fail; lots have gone into very high miles. It's only the negatives you hear about, never the positives And re the car; personally - Keep it Classy/Keep it OEM

So it's all well overdue really and now it's extended warranty is about to expire; I can fit the parts I prefer over having to stick with OEM BMW parts etc Cooling system parts aren't expensive; worth getting it all done for peace of mind IMO

Hello F31 family, after many E90s, three E91s the last one being a manual . I finally joined the F31 community one owner, previously a 80 year old lady. Interior is mint but she did a number on the wheels. Future plans are OEM M sport bumpers and wheels.

Gave the car a quick contactless wash and towel dried the glass/wheels and treated the tyres
Loaded it with all the parts being fitted to it and my pals will collect it tomorrow

Can't tell you how rare it is to see another F31in South East Texas much less another mineral gray one, much less cued up right in front of me in traffic.

I'm sticking with 'OEM Plus' - so I've gone for Bilstein B4S shocks with Eibach Pro kit springs all round inc. Sachs top mounts all round, with OEM BMW rubber perches, bump stops/dust boots and gaskets etc.
New arms all round (a mix of Lemforder, TRW and Moog as Autodoc didn't have everything available in Lemforder or TRW) I did toy with the ideal of fitting Bilstein B16s but after being out in an F30 with them fitted, they were too firm for what I wanted. Our roads are terrible at best and for every day normal driving, they're not compliant enough Looking forward to getting the car back
