Thanks mate..only just saw your response.
will post up soon.. the tuner has the car presently and cant get it right... I was hoping to flick him some suggestions from you guys that seen to have done the hard yards and experienced similar problems. I have spent a fair bit of money and getting a little frustrated He is very experienced on the BMW platform. But not with n55 DCT ps2 with some boost. |

Hi Guys
I had Steve from wedge re-tune my car.. Amazing job and thank you. No more misfires. Just adding AEM meth.. Installed but with out a failsafe. Not interested in JB4 so will seek a tune in line with inline with current pump tune. Kit is fully installed but not sure where to take 5volt signal from. (charge pipe Tmap or manifold tmap?) Can anyone shed some light? thanks |

Should be the yellow wire. Yours might not be in the same location as mine because I repinned my connector to work with the n20 tmap.

Thanks mate.
I picked up yellow wire from the intake manifold..Works a treat!! Also i wired in the safety to cut the boost solenoid which works although without baffles in the tank, i have had one false safety cut due to fuel slosh (sensor in tank not so good!) Had it retuned by Steve at Wedge (Good job !! thanks) 22.5psi and 12 deg of timing up top.. Car is running great.. |
