Update they sent me a invoice and it seems they changed a whole lot of stuff for it to be “perfectly fine” all seems a lil sketchy but I guess this is standard for all turbo warranty jobs, all the way at the bottom is the hi flow oil drain since they are assuming it’s getting blocked then going back into the turbo

At what point does the LPFP need an upgrade? I know previous BMW’s needed a LPFP upgrade at a certain point, but I thought our B58’s were fine for the most part. Is it a pre-emptive upgrade or good to do regardless after a certain point?

My tuner said when you’re about at 700 the lpfp will suffer and not be effiecent enough to supply the fueling needed

I’m attaching me and my buddies drain lines in comparison, the newer looking one is mine while his is the dirtier one screenshotted from instagram. I see his is much straighter while mine is kinked, do you think this could result in a problem ?

Try to replicate his oil drain line. I believe mine was similar to his.

Crankcase back-pressure can have a big effect on the gravity drain from the turbo. I'd check / revert the PCV, breather pipes, etc. If you're running a catch can I'd recommend removing it. Mine caused problems with oil being forced past the oil flingers, causing exhaust smoking at idle and also as the oil was burnt off under acceleration (diesel motor, and the DPF was becoming oil contaminated).
