Who cares what they're worth if it doesn't look good? If the wheels are worth 20% or more of what the car is, that's also stupid. That Jetta does look a bit 'hot wheels' imo. It's ghetto slammed on bags, and is some odd purple shade.

Yup. That's pretty much my definition of a hot wheels car. If that guy paid over $6,000 for those wheels, congratulations to him. He's an idiot. And you keep talking everyone down on this forum for being too conservative; I'd like to see some pics of your e90 with something creative and unique.

I also think it's ironic putting Recaro racing seats in that VW when it clearly isn't capable of being a performance car anymore.

I'm ignorant?? You have a one track mind, homey. From what I've seen in your previous posts/threads, all you think about is "baller wheels" and "poke and stretch". You consider anything conservative or not to your liking to be backwards and behind other car scenes. And get your facts straight if you're gonna talk shit; I don't have linea corses. Next, work on your comprehension- I didn't even mention paint color. A car enthusiast does not have to like every style of car, somebody with strong opinions such as yourself should know that.

EDIT: on deleting your post Derek Zoolander. Don't post something if you're too scared to back it up.

I don't think everyone setups here don't look good. They do look good. It's just not what I would do.
Everyone's cars here look the same. It's boring.

Good luck with your search!

Why, I think John_01 is right. I've seen e30's rip the inner sidewall because of the negative camber and the strectched tires.

90% of the time it's a defective tire. Stretched tires pose no safety hazards.
If your fender is sitting on the tire and cutting it, that's a different story. A little rubbing won't make it tear.

My buddy has been running 215's on 9" wheels this summer on his GLI, he blew two tires for no obvious reasons. He ditching the setup and going back to stock so he can actually drive his car. Big time fail.
