Guys, need the year of manufacture for your cars...
Simon says (haha)... "Hello G Thanks for the email, I had a read of the forum, I need to know the years, for example a 2008 231bhp E90 330d takes me around an hour to do, a 2009 241bhp 330d takes me over 2 hours so year is important so I know exactly cars I have to do. Cheers Simon" Once he has the years he can put a quote forward to us... Cheers webby888... me too... price is a factor. |

I would also be interested in this offer. I'm in Hertfordshire so obviously Luton is closer than Kent but I don't mind travelling within reason.
I have a 2010 LCI E92 184bhp 320D Manual. Craig |

Woah! Did not expect this much interest. Hopefully a good deal will be proposed.
As Simon is mobile, he may be able to see groups in one area at a time to make things easier but let's see what he says... Here is the updated list: 1. Bajandrifter E92 320d M Sport (2007), East London 2. Webby888 E92 330d (2007), Outer London - Berkshire 3. Acerboo E92 335d LCI (2011), Kent 4. Rich4191 E93 330d M Sport. (2008) Pre LCI. Manual, London 5. Waspo E90 330i M Sport (2006), Southampton 6. Cupraraj E93 330d M Sport (2007) - considering DPF delete too, West Midlands 7. Broken Gearbox E92 325i Auto (2007) Pre LCI - Central London 8. Yoro35i Mini One 1.6 Auto (2004), London 9. Geesh_46 E91 335i Auto (2006), Stoke-on-Trent 10. Craig242 E92 320d Manual (2010), Herts 11. k31ron E90 330d Manual (2011), Derbyshire Let's see how we go... he could map a group in London and do the rest en-route or travel out. He said he is happy to stay a night somewhere if it is more than a days work i.e. a few cars. His quote includes travel anyway but why charge several people for travel if travelling to one place? Anyhow... awaiting a response. Both Simon and Evolve are excellent mappers. I think a mobile service will probably make more sense to most if all of us cannot make the trip to Luton. One thing is for certain after the map... I am hitting the Surrey Rolling Road out of interest and if anyone is up for it at a later date we could try to set up a group buy for a rolling road day. as the others said it all depends on price to be honest. if he normally charges say £300. and hes only going to knock like £50 off for possibly 15 customers its no good!
i want the 2 or under mark lol |

Food for thought boys and girls.. Hot off the press from Evolve:
Quote:
I don't know about you lot but this is one heck of a deal! Seriously it is. Nonetheless, let's see what Simon comes back with... and we can take it from there in terms of confirmations. Evolve: Pros and Cons... Pros: Solid price, free updates due to dealer over write and dyno runs before and after. Cons: One location - Luton Simon: Pros and Cons... Pros... Mobile mapper... Cons... No dyno unless he tows a rolling road around with him Also I am not sure if he offers free updates due to the dealer over write. Simon as you have the link to this thread can you confirm whether you offer free updates or not? Simon quoted me £275 a while back but that of course does not include the dyno. Although he can come to me for that price. The dyno is tempting. Surrey Rolling Road quoted me £40 for a dyno session. Interesting times... Last edited by Soul_Glo; 01-16-2015 at 05:46 AM..
