Same down here in OZ, this is the response from BMW Australia:

At this point in time, BMW Germany cannot supply an ETA.

There are issues with the supplier of the carbon covers.

I will advise you as soon as I have more information regarding the armrest

I actually contacted them to see if they could get this last week. Ryan contacted me back saying yes they could get them and in fact they ordered 5. One was for me and the rest for sale. Told him to post them up on the forum and they did. Gone the same day.....

Ryan actually told me it didn't have that font on it before I bought it. I wanted it either way they look amazing to me. Either that has been eliminated for production or maybe Europe gets a different version, IDK

It is OEM according to IND but without the M Performance font on it

I can see this being something along the lines of TRD's 10K tach for the Supra if that rings any bells...

I remember reading a post a while back where it said these were not coming to the US. My guess is that iND has contacts in Europe who purchased it there and shipped them to the US privately, hence the limited quantities.

If that's true, I have no idea why BMW sells the F3X armrest but not this one.

I really like the F8X armrest but I'm not sure how these will hold up over time. I rest my elbow on part of the armrest when I drive and I'm worried that the rubbing will make it look bad after a few months. If someone can comment on the durability of these that would be great!
