If you read my other post, I did mention one I used. We Buy Any Cars. So I call bullshit about your appraisals. How about that. |

This is why I've come to the terms of keeping my 1er. Spend all those years paying it off and it's now worth $14k.
It'll make a great track car in the future when self driving cars take over.

Of course every dealership will say they'll match Carmax's offer when in my experience they're not that great. Just look at my personal experience. I sold off my 94 Z28 to We Buy Any Cars back in 2014. When I mention I got $1100 more on that car than what Carmax offered, this needs to be taken into context on the age of my car. For my car being that old and We Buy Any Cars offering such a big difference in price, says something. I suspect if I had a much newer car the differential might be even bigger.

I love my car. I am glad I bought it new and plan to keep it for the long haul. I will let whoever settles my estate worry about what to do with it after I am gone.

She thinks she is learning on the roadster. Maybe. Why not, it has a whopping 62k on it. It probably depreciated to near zero by now. OP, my wife occasionally reminds me how much she liked the 04 GTO 6M. Sold it to a friends son. Afraid to ask where it is now.

This is why it's actually far better to finance your car at a low interest rate than to pay cash for the depreciating asset. Finance it at a favorable rate and you can take the initial cash outlay and invest it in something that's actually going to earn a return as opposed to the car which takes a 10% hit or more as soon as you drive it off the lot. |

I remember years ago when a manual option was $XXX off. Now, you pay for the manual option. I'll look into that, thanks. |

May be different in different states but here in Colorado, trading in a car can be beneficial as the sales tax is based on the difference between the price of the new car and the trade in value.

Definitely not something most here would like. Either an Infiniti QX30 or Q50 both very similarly priced. Dealership is giving me the most for the car out of 6 or 7 dealerships I've looked at. Surprise, BMW lowballed me the most out of any dealership I visited.
If the terms hold up and the dealership honors what they've been telling me over the last few days, I'm gonna say goodbye to my 135i tonight. I love the car, but I'm officially sick of all these repairs. With the amount of things that have gone wrong with this car, I could've bought a M3 instead |

What year is your car and how many miles? I'm an appraiser for a large car dealership in south Florida. I can probably give some insight as to why they offered what they offered.
The fact is, if they gave you a number, and only bumped it $600, they were probably all in, especially if they didn't call you back after you left trying to give you more to come back. |
