btw its not clever... its common sense. c'mon man... u know better than that. and if tahts what you think... there would be ALOT more posts about people getting pulled over by a honda civic, toyota camry, nissan quest.... would you like me to go on? who knows... maybe a smart car would get in a high speed chase to give someone a fix it ticket! LOL unbelievable... im sorry its just funny.

and i dont know about you but i wouldnt be wasting my mileage and gas for giving a $150 ticket with no compensation. not too mention if he/she ever got in a shooting...

but if you say so... sure why not. ill paypal you $100 to prove me wrong

i guess cops are THAT stupid to risk their safety for an infraction...
I forgot what we were debating....but I won't get out bed for a measly $100.

Wow I called that one. Confiscated car, they do that all the time.

As for who ever said go to court and plead guilty, are YOU CRAZY. You never plead guilty, you plead no contest.

Your attorney will just go to court, plead not contest, and reiterate that you haven't had a ticket in 5 years. Judge will say, yes indeed, at this time the court withholds adjudication, please pay the ticket. If your lucky, they will waive court costs, sometimes they do, sometimes they dont.
You will be fine. I guarantee you the cop doesnt have the time to bring that tape to court, let alone if he even had a tape recording in the e92.

With a record of no tickets in 5 years, if you have the time, I would just go to court and say no contest myself.

Considering it's a "new" patrol car, the officer will likely be enthusiastic for court and in order to justify the departments use of an expensive German import for patrol cars and the auto's revenue generating ability.

most of the unmarked cars are American made (mustangs, cameros, chargers, etc.) but now i guess there are a diff cars to confuse the drivers/speedsters.

I have a friend who's a local cop and he has a $50k 08 528 and a $40k Z4. Don't be so quick to judge people's economic situation. Just because a dude is driving a Rolls, doesn't mean he's got money. When I see shit like that I don't say, " wow hes rich", I say "wow hes got a lot of bills to pay"

Yeah cops can make a ton of money on just overtime, if they are so inclined. If they are detectives, even more money!!!!!!

yeah the op actually stated that the car was seized in a drug bust, and instead of auctioning the car... they decided to make it an undercover...

yea, i got pulled over by a white volvo S40 like 2 years ago... i just look out for cars with dark tints from now on, and whenever i see someone coming up to me from the rear i downshift to slow down... i have had 2 tickets in 2 years... never had points or court fees. i go to Hochman and Goldin attorneys, they are by Captain's tavern in South Miami.

BTW watch out in the express lanes on I-95. i saw a FHP cross the white stick things to pull someone over...

Wow an fhp tropper made it in between the little posts to get into the express lane, what an animal driver if he made it without hitting them, but i have a feeling thats almost impossible, they are spaced so close to each other from what i remember.

"pacing"? In an E92? HA! Every E90 I've been in, the speedo has been off by ~5mph. Either it was calibrated/certified, or the ticket should be thrown out.

If it was certified, I want to know where they brought it! It drives me nuts that mine's 5mph off.
