most of the german companies are smart enough to build plants here in the south where we consider unions rude and overbearing. We are also the lowest paid sector of the USA, so maybe that would be an uptick for unions if it werent for the fact that we are at least able to semi-compete for jobs that would otherwise go overseas.
Heck BMW was going to lay of german workers (you want to see UNION HELL, look at the german workers council), and add workers in spartanburg. All part of the global economy. Personally i hate seeing the pay difference between southern states and california.
