Isn't the install the same as the painted reflector DIY?

Since the Acexxon kit is aftermarket we need to show overall fitments in the DIY.

Fair enough, I can understand why you would want to show that - a picture is worth 1000 words and will help to show off the product and help with DIY installation. But from a procedural perspective, do these pieces install in the rear bumper just like the OEM reflectors, or are there additional procedural steps (or components) necessary to install these parts that is different from the OEM reflectors?

I have seen your DIY for the painted rear reflectors and it seems very straight forward: Painted Reflector DIY

Installed with crappy garage cell phone pictures:

Hopefully I'll get some daytime pics tomorrow.

High-quality product with perfect fitment. Installed in <2 minutes. Excellent packaging and fast shipping by IND. A few misspellings and like 600 disclaimers on the manufacturer's packaging. The tiny gap you see in the first photo is just the camera angle

For me, I don't know that gloss black would have made a major difference. I don't think it clashes with the glossy diffuser.

From a non-technical consumer's perspective... it's exactly the same. I removed the reflectors using the same procedure, and the tabs were identical to OEM with perfect fitment. I'm sure IND will want to comply with whatever their distributor officially tells them.

I suspected as much and it was my plan to use that procedure to install them. I just got mine in the mail as well and will be installing them soon.

Very minor quibble, but they seem to very slightly bulge out in middle...not quite flush. I think they may need to be like that to stay on?

The stock ones do the same. Might be in the design.

Nate - Anyone order these in body color - suspect they would look a lot better imo - would be nice to see pics.

PS: off topic but sent a note to Cat over a week ago using the info@ email address enquiring about replacing leather inserts in the flat bottomed M steering wheel but no one has responded - she may be on vacation? Any chance you could find out if someone has picked up the query - you guys did a similar replacement of Dr Who on his custom build I believe? Thx, C.

Am I the only one with gloss black version? LOL. Anyway for anyone wondering what gloss black version look like on YMB, enjoy!

Both fitment and quality are excellent. However taking down the rear reflectors was a bit pain in the ass since i was paranoid about damage the paint even with with all the precautions using blue tape. I ended up using fishing line method to pull/pop them out and i think it is probably the most none invasive method to do it. Just FYI.

Many have requested better photos of gloss black compared to matte black so here they are.
