are you hoping to do something tesla-like or even remotely reliable as OEM adas on a chinese sd625 headunit with all sort of variety of dashcam out there? Good luck with that

Hey guys I need help and i cant make a thread yet idk how im new but I have one question, I have a 320i 2014, and it seems that I have an Entry NBT system, would i be able to still get an 10.25 android screen for NBT with no issues? or would I have to do something to the headunit?

Don't know if this was posted before but I tried searching and did not find anything. Just picked up a new unit and the problems I have are

When I switch to the BMW UI and try to play music from my phone it plays for a few seconds then pauses by itself. I can unpause it but it will happen again after a few seconds. Nav and radio works well.

Second is when I try to switch back to Android side bluetooth is disconnected and when I try to manually connect nothing happens. I have to reboot the unit for it to manually pair itself.

It is a SD625 4GB/64GB unit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi people,
2 days ago I finally got an android unit for my F31, now I have an issue with audio quality coming from the android side (when I listen thru the Idrive it sounds great) but thru the aux-in it sounds muffled, no bass, and a little "noise" that sounds like static, I've messed with volume @android side & Idrive and the static is barely noticeable now, but the lack of bass and poor quality overall still remains.

I had to run a jack cable to the aux-in in the armrest because there was no sound even though the fiber optic cables were plugged to the quadlock of the android system.

Anyone has got this problem and maybe have a solution? Some people said to remove the 4pin plug from the aux-in, but I'm using it (maybe remove 1 or 2 pins but not the ones needed for the sound?)

I'm running OS version 1.8.2 and MCU Version 41587dLZH-NBT dated 200617

Fiber optic cable should be plugged to the QuadLock that is plugged into the Head Unit.

It's the AUX input connector itself that is the culprit. You could swap the OEM AUX for an eBay AUX without the electronics that ruin the sound. Or just disconnect the AUX and connect the cables together directly.

My original aux has 6pin, maybe due to having an iphone/ipod whatever craddle under the armrest.

I just received the package with navifly 4g/64gb with built-in carplay and blue anti-glare 1920 screen. I noticed that in the canbus cable there is a speaker connected and also there is a separate microphone. My current Android 7.1.1 works without external microphone or speaker. Do you know if I should leave them connected?

External speaker is for navigation instructions. When you switch back to iDrive and change audio source (happens automatically), Android has no means of passing audio to your speakers anymore. So they added this little speaker to shout at you navigation commands when you're in the OEM system. Personally I would throw it away (well, put aside) and not install that. I don't care about navigation voice guide - I have that always turned off.

As for the external microphone - use that. It will be much better than the built-in one. The built-in one is just crap... the crappiest crap of craps

I have always the voice guide turned off, so will not use it. Thanx for the detailed description.

Regarding microphone, I use microphone only when using my iphone to talk through bmw bluetooth. In that case, I think it is used the bmw microphone right? I dont know if through carplay, Android uses its own microphone though... (I rarely use the google maps microphone function to say a road)

If you're using BMW's bluetooth for phone calls then yes, this is through the OEM mic. As for carplay I'm not entirely sure (I don't use that) but it might be using built-in mic... or your actual phone. Sorry I'm not very helpful here.

I've gone from not having a clue to having my unit exactly the way I want it with a custom splash screen and customer ID6 tiles linking to the apps I want.

Had everything working perfectly UNTIL hald an hour ago. Autokit gives me a black screen and immediately exits. Tried rebooting but the same thing happens.

Has anyone had this before? Know how to fix it?

Never mind. I uninstalled and re-installed it again. Hope it's not something that happens regularly!

Anyone with navifly and front camera. I have connected the camera in dvr video in but no signal on dvr app. When I connect the front camera rca to rear camera connector it shows fine.

Any ideas?

Also, I have another problem with navifly. I cant get my dvb-t2 to work. Actually I dont know where to connect the following connector

because this leads to white connector for screen connection. But navifly already has a cable with the same white connector which contains only rca inputs...

the tuner does not came with remote control, tv control was done by touch screen and a tv app in android...

The ugode dvb-t2 tuner was working in Android 7.1.1 screen from ugode.

Any ideas?
