Sorry bud... Mine were wrapped pretty well and protected with hard cardboard and bubble wrap... I'd send pics of the package to the seller and ask him for refund or send you new ones.

Diffuser install on a stock 335i bumper

Does anyone know how to install a diffuser on a stock E92 335i rear bumper, and also what diffuser to get? I've looking but cannot find answers!

Do you have an mtech/msport rear bumper? (does it have a diffuser already?)

Vorsteiner is the only company that makes(made?) a rear diffuser that will fit the stock (non m-sport) rear bumper

There is also the Hamann style for the non-msport rear:

Don't really like it though.

So you have the stock (non m-sport) bumper.

The two diffuser styles above fit your car. And there are a few vendors in the SPONSORS section who can source a diffuser for you.

Install will vary based on the diffuser you choose.

Then you need an mtech bumper, this is what the picture you have sent shows. There is something wrong with the exhaust tips in the picture you sent though... oO

FYI... mtech and msport are the same bumper. msport is the OEM BMW bumper and costs upwards of $700. mtech is the aftermarket bumper that looks and fits EXACTLY like the msport bumper.

I bought my mtech bumper for $450 (shipped) off ebay member europartsautostore.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E92-MTEC...553584&vxp=mtr

Bumper is listed for $475, but make him an offer for $450 and he'll take it. That's what I did

Considering this... I know it hasn't been a while since you've had them, but how are the holding up?
I have had them for about 4 months now, no problems that I can see. Holding up just fine.

Received mine yesterday.
They were wrapped with bubble wrap then cardboard material, so I pretty much got a cylinder shaped package. One of the tips had a slight dent on the side, but I knew it wouldn't be noticeable when installed so I didn't care too much. Probably could've been avoided if they packaged them inside a box instead.

Just one picture I took at the shop. Will upload more later this week after I wash the car.
Very satisfied with the tips!

Its not your fault man. All is good.

I figured I would report back in. My tips were wrapped in white thin foam w a plastic bag covering them. No cardboard anywhere. They would have been fine w some cardboard for sure.

So I emailed the seller as a hey avoid this in the future kind of a thing fully expecting to not hear anything as we are talking a 30 dollar exhaust tip here. No big deal. Shit happens.

The guy gets back to me almost immediately, apologizes, says not to worry and he is sending me another one. Lol. Absolutely amazing customer service.

The tips seems to be very well constructed. After buying these from this guy and the level of attention received over a 30 dollar product I would encourage everyone looking for a quality alternative to overpriced tips to give this guy your business. I think you will be very pleased w the product.

Wow, that's pretty sweet. I'm glad it will end up working out for you.

I've had great experiences with Chinese vendors on eBay and AliExpress. They are very friendly and quick to reply and almost immediately try to solve any problem.

Is that a muffler delete as well? Any vids of the exhaust?

I just went catless downpipes and I really like the new sound but I'm looking for a little more and I might just do it at the same time as tips.
