Resurrecting this old thread to see if there are any aftermarket (or genuine BMW) replacement options for the F80 shift knob that light up? MY shift knob could use a refresh due to the leather looking and feeling a bit tired, but I don't want to sacrifice the illuminated shift pattern graphic if I can avoid it.
This genuine BMW knob has illumination. But it's discontinued, so it'll take some effort to locate.
