Had an oil analysis completed by Blackstone Labs. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better result, huge sigh of relief.

Today was Dyno day! We tested the E50 blend using 3 runs. As you'll see in the graphs, Run 1 was a throwaway because the car was adjusting to the AWD Mustang Dyno. Runs 2 and 3 were VERY consistent and therefore deemed valid.

Because it was an AWD Dyno, even having XDelete enabled disabling XDrive, we still had to put the car in test mode via the gauge cluster.

I'm also told Mustang dyno's read lower than DynoJets and no correction factor was applied other than SAE corrections.

Final numbers were 400WHP/492WTQ. Not bad for a big old pig with an N55.

Damn! 400 WHP is crazy. Any chance you could get a 0-60 time at some point?

Wow. 4 seconds is incredible. Can you share (keep in mind I am a relative lay person when it comes to some of this) exactly what you had to upgrade to accomplish this output? How much concern is there to impact to longevity? Obviously performance and longevity always work antagonistically, but nonetheless.

What oil do you usually use? Was this just a preventative measure before adding more hp?

I don't mind at all. So modification wise, it's got a VRSF Downpipe and Front Mount Intercooler along with an ER charge pipe for breathing , and then a Dorch Stage 1 HPFP and Zeitronix FlexFuel kit for the fueling side. Ethanol inherently requires 15% more volume compared to regular gasoline so the hpfp upgrade is needed to get enough E for the additional boost.

I've been running Motul XCESS 5w-40 now and typically change every 3k miles. This test was two fold:

1) just for my own peace of mind to make sure I didn't need to address anything regarding the rod bearings since we're at 50k miles now.

2) a health check since we've turned it up quite a bit and plan on doing a bit more so in the future.

I was looking at a E85 tune, but not enough gas stations nearby… Have you tried that vs the E50? Also, if you don't mind me asking, who do you have doing the custom tune?

Since I only have the Dorch Stage 1 HPFP, I'm maxing my E blend at e50 since I would need the Stage 2 to really make use of full e85 due to how much it flows. I could probably taper boost down to run full e85 but what's the fun in that .

Thanks man! I'm on a quest to break 3's so with a bit more driver mod and some lightweight wheels I think we can get there.

What additional parts are needed to run full E85? LPFP? New lines?

I think as long as you have a Dorch Stage 2 hpfp or equivalent you're good to go. Maybe a n20 TMAP sensor. I know that's the setup WOT808 has.

I wish it wasn't $1,600. Would be nice to fill up with E85 since it's $2 cheaper than 93 😄

Great results! It's been awesome working with you to get this thing moving good. I'm excited for more results.

You're right, a 'stage 2' hpfp is the best option for full e85 on the stock turbo. You can run full e85 on one of the stage 1 hpfps or even the stock pump but will have to limit boost so that the HPFP pressure doesn't dip low enough to misfire.

The lpfp in EWG cars seem to handle e85 well into the low 400s just fine.
