It was also sooo easy in comparison to what ive seen others on the e90 forum doing, talking about replacing the module in the sunroof control thing and cutting the plastic, etc... I was prepared to splice and dice my wires, but looking at the connector when i pulled the overhead switches out they were exactly the same, except for the ground. Maybe because of the Canadian spec? I really dont know. My car has manual sport heated seats, no alarm, and had the grey alarm dome thing. Not the red nose light that everyone was saying you need or else you have to cut into the wires. |

Took it for a 200 mile road trip with my woman. Felt good to be driving it again, bummer that gas creeped up to $4 a gallon now.

The wire under the trunk carpet on the right hand side of the trunk before it goes into the trunk lid. No tube. Routed the wire along the existing harness to the RH taillight and under the plastic molding at the back of the trunk to the LH taillight (after first removing the plastic molding). Hope that helps. Perhaps this is an opportunity for you to write the definitive DIY.

I cleaned the crap out of my 135i and the X3 as well. Yeah, I need to take some pictures. Full interior everything from vacuum to leather cleaning and conditioning to cotton swabbing the nooks and crannies and so on. I even cleaned the back window inside, how often does one do that? It was all pretty clean already, that's how I am, but even more than normal right now.
Cleaned the engine bay too, and of course the entire exterior including shooting some iron decon stuff and a really brief claybar, followed by a few coats of Zaino (a polymer "wax"). Wheels and tires too of course. It's sparkling. It's not Supergnat's car but it's stupid clean right now. The X3 even got some polishing down, took out some fine scratches, the 1-er didn't need it. And yeah I'll get pictures. |

Not sure - I don't have any issues with the stock dead pedal, so did not look around for that piece. If Turner doesn't sell one, I'm sure there are others that do

My 'what did I do' for this week is the same :P
First proper road trip with the car, drove from Vancouver BC to Seattle with some windy road detours to check out a nice waterfall. I freaking LOVE this car and oh my is it quick with the Stage 2+. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast everyone in Washington drives compared to here in BC. It's been a few years since I drove down to Seattle and I forgot about that; this allowed me to stretch the legs on the 135i more than expected. I didn't have the time to swap over to the Michelin PS4S though and it did not feel as confidence inspiring as I expected.... Need to check alignment and adjust ride heights once I install the new wheel spacers (12.7mm vs 20mm). Last edited by ByeByeVTEC; 04-15-2024 at 02:34 PM.. |

I removed and replaced the el Cheap-o (tm) rear lip spoiler on my 128 using actual Betalink K1 as opposed to the double-sided foam tape that came with it.
Yeah, not a big deal, but it bothered me.

Got alignment done after m performance springs with bilstein b8 install. Dinan fixed camber plates and m3 front control arms as well.
Also threw on a staggered set of style 68 wheels. Always loved these wheels. Car is a blast. Next need to add some rear subframe bushings as the rear is very wallowy as everybody has mentioned. |

Road tripped to the Smokies and met up with friends for some mountain driving. We did Tail of the Dragon, Wayah, Toe of the Camel, Hellbender, Cherahola Skyway, etc etc etc, all legendary roads in their own right. Multiple 10 hour days of driving. Absolutely one of my favorite weekends of the year.

I reached out to OSS Designs a few months ago when I was considering an amber corner delete + housing blackout. They seemed pretty legit to me but I can’t actually vouch for them as I never sent them my headlights.

I drove up through Haliburton and Muskoka, and back along one of my favourite twisty roads: Highway 13 from Bala to Severn Bridge. No leaves yet on the trees up there, but sunny skies and empty roads all day (except anywhere near Toronto).
