I never installed these on my car. If you want to see before and after pics on an E90 see the following comprehensive review here:

Do the perches fit stock sport and non-sport suspension alike? Any performance issues on large bumps due to less spring travel?

Can sport springs be used with non-sport suspension?

The perches do fit either sport or non-sport springs. You are installing this component to lower the stance so if you have non-sport springs I would change the springs first. These are popular because the stance even with the sport springs is still pretty high in the front. You will have less travel on your suspension obviously so I have heard people cutting down their bump stops to match (1/2" less).

When matching sport springs with non-sport dampers you run the risk of burning out your shocks quicker because they are not designed to work with the stiffer springs. People do it all the time to save money but I personally wouldn't do it.
